Anthem has the best 90s Grunge theme this month and I had a great time reliving the best of the Grungey 90s! 

This weekend was the perfect time to do a bit of 90s decorating and dressing because it was the 6th anniversary of the last Big Day Out. I was lucky enough to be there rocking out to Pearl Jam! Memories!

Wayward Winter is Open

Wayward Winter has opened! 

There's nothing better than that warm cuddly feeling you get from a hot comfort stew or cup of cocoa in Winter or from sitting by the fire inside and watching the snow fall. There are so many perfectly Wintery releases at  Wayward Winter from from many of your favourite SL creators that can help set that scene for you.

The event is set on a themed sim with photo opportunities aplenty, snowman building, skiing, skating and so much more. You need to see it for yourself. It's like a Winter getaway complete with fun activities and shopping galore.

Color Me Project - Royals Round

The Party's Over

Christmas with the family can be rough. 

So right after New Year, the Bestie and I set off out of town for the weekend to celebrate her birthday.

We had time to chill and relax

I made sure she had all her favourite goodies to eat, balloons to pop and stocked the bar. 

Even a big night out didn't leave us too shaken. 

Eventually the birthday girl made it inside. 

 So it was time to make myself scarce.

 I made a skype call ....

The next morning a walk was just what I needed to get over the night before.

All good things come to an end though and we were soon on our way home again.

Wayward Market

Unfortunately I had major computer dramas before Christmas so I haven't had the chance to blog anything for Wayward Market until now. 

If you haven't visited the Wayward Sim yet, go there now. It's such a cute sim and the Wayward Market has heaps of great Winter items. There are also some amazing gifts for group members that you don't want to miss out on. 

 Wayward Market closes on the 10th and then is on break for January due to Wayward Winter. Don't miss out on all the Wintery goodness there!

Happy New Year

The new year is a great time to clear your thoughts and make the decision to do one thing every day that makes you happy. 

Be it taking a walk alone, grabbing that first morning coffee before anyone else wakes up, logging into sl for that hour to escape or even just smiling to yourself some time in the day at a memory or song. Whatever does it. 

  

Maybe it's easier to think about or do one thing each day, no matter how big or small, so that we gradually get there on our journey instead of giving because the big picture all seems to much. 

Every day is a new beginning. If you didn't get to it yesterday, today is your chance to try and keep moving forward, not get stuck in that rut, making something more than a dream.

Here's to 2016. Let's do something everyday to make us happy.

Wayward Halloween is here!

It's that fun time of year when dress ups and house decorating is a must.

This gacha event has over 100 stores and all machines are NOT priced over 75L per pull. There is also a Photo Contest going on and more info is on the site

 If you travel to the left of the town you will see Trick or Treat Street. Gacha Machines are cauldrons, jack o lanterns, and spiders in this area! You will probably also the drive-in theater that will be the Wayward Halloween Party location on October 29th, sponsored by The Bay.

If you take your chances and turn to the right from the entrance, you will hit our town cemetery. Gacha Machines in this area are tombstones on this spooky side of town.

A little time in the Garden

The Wayward Carnival has some excellent items for outdoor decorating. The bunnies from {anc} look cute anywhere and the chair swing from [ zerkalo ] comes in a variety of colours and would look great both indoors and outdoors. I couldn't resist popping over to my grandparents garden and taking a few pics with some of the great finds from the Carnival.

The Wayward Carnival is now open until the 30th July. It has some amazing designers, builders, and creators in all of Second Life! The Wayward Carnival is being held July 15th – 30th and spotlights designer exclusives as well as our working carnival!

It was a good night

It was such a good night. We danced till our feet hurt, until the dawn broke. By the time we got home I was ready for bed so I left everything by the door and climbed on in.
