Sometimes a visit to Granny's house is all we need to cheer us up. There's always cookies and other yummies and of course her kitties. So many treasures can be uncovered at Granny's and you always leave feeling loved and warm.

ROMP ing on Friday Night

I went to the ROMP event today and there are heaps of fantastic poses, clothes, furniture pieces for everyone to get their Kink on.

My favourite by far was the Stockholm&Lima Ballet Barre (to feature very soon)

Batchelor Pad

I was talking to a friend today about the increasing quality options in clothing and furniture for men on the grid.
There are so many great stores around for men now. Gone are the days of men having one or two half decent stores to choose from.  Shopping for men has really come along in leaps and bounds.
Events like The Men's Department have brought quality men's items to the forefront of shopping and events like Chapter 4, Fameshed, The Arcade and Collabor88 may still be primarily directed toward female shoppers, but they seem to have more male shopping options available.
It's great to see the males of sl finally having a number of great quality choices.

One of my favourite stores I discovered recently is [ kunst ].  It has the same quality, masculine products that Pilot does and it's quickly became a store I love to decorate with.

Tuscan Living

The Redgrave houses are the best houses around the grid at the moment in my opinion. They have amazing textures, shadows, layouts and generous rooms that are neither too big nor small.


Both Redgrave houses are pretty amazing. They could easily be made into sophisticated manor style houses or relaxed beach houses or country homes.

The decks on the UTON Manor remind me of relaxed Tuscan afternoons.

Sunset

Pictured today are two rooms from my house. 

I love sunsets and I was pretty happy when I came across this windlight that showed off Sunset so well. Shadows make everything seem a little more magical both in RL and SL and I love how the shadows bounce off the rooms and furniture in these rooms.

Velvet Dreaming

Fameshed is open for February and I loved these items from The Loft. 

Teamed with the new chair from +POME+ Dortchen it makes a nice velvety toned room for the gents of sl or anyone looking for a vintage luxury type room.The chair has some really unique poses I haven't seen before for singles, couples and friends.

Dreamers

The Kawaii Project has some really cute items available. I found the Kalopsia “Dreamer’s Bed” there. It is one of the cutest little things around. I teamed it up with Second Spaces Unicorn freestanding wall from Collabor88, Alouette’s Paper chains from The Playroom by Seraphim Kids and a few other cute little bits and pieces I had lying around.
